It's just after midnight, and time to face the fact that another week is getting ready to fly by and leave me in the dust. And Still, I haven't ordered the new prints, paid certain bills, finished my chores, or followed my therapist's directive of getting to bed earlier. (Luckily, I scored a nap this afternoon, so I guess I can stay up 4 hours later than usual?)
Ever heard of RSCM? It's the Royal School of Church Music (in America), and I'm very happy to report that my daughter will be spending this week in Raleigh, attending the RSCM Summer Course for Girls and Adults. (see more info at http://www.carolinarscm.org/) The course will culminate with the choir singing 2 services next Sunday, one at The Chapel of the Cross, in Chapel Hill, and the other at Christ Church in Raleigh. This will be the 5th year that Katy has participated, and we've really been looking forward to it. I'll plan on posting some photos and whatnot after the services next week.
Speaking of posting photos, I hope to figure that part out soon too. But until then, if you'd like to see some of my work, you could visit Art and Soul in Mebane, NC. If that's not convenient, then just follow this link: http://www.margaretclemmerphotography.com/.
Good night, sleep tight!

What can I say? I suppose I can now call myself a 'blogger'.
I have so admired my friend Janae's blog (and a few others here & there), and she makes it all look so easy, that I thought I'd give it a try. I suspect the content will not be limited to photography stuff.
As you might have gleaned, I'm a photographer - for the joy of it, not for the fabulous earnings potential. (I can't imagine the 7th world country that I could support with my artistic earnings - you would NOT want to go there....) Oh, and just for posterity's sake, I need to let you know that I Think I'm So Funny! (hmmm, yet another possible blog title!) I probably won't let you forget that for long, but hey, if we can't laugh, why live?
Back to business: yes, I have a 'real', left-brained job that pays almost-all-of-the-mortgage, and I'm oh-so-glad to have it, considering the economy, and all those that are dear to me that are struggling to find jobs.
Light and Love to all, and thanks for your time Margaret (and yes, I'm still barefoot)
